Featured Illustrator Catch-up

How time flies! As Words & Pictures celebrates it's second anniversary as a web magazine, here's a look back over the past year's Featured Illustrators.

Over the last year we've seen a very wide range of illustrators showcased in Words & Pictures, from new faces to seasoned professionals. Some yet-to-be-published debut winners of our 2014 Undiscovered Voices compilation, some who have recently switched to children's books from other paths, and others who've been in the business a long time. No matter at what stage in their career, each artist receives the same opportunity to be showcased in Words and Pictures

So here's a brief reminder of the past year's selection. Click on the names to go directly to their gallery pages.

The answers to the quick fire questions have proved very interesting again this year, indicating that there's a wide variety of things that inspire and encourage us in our art. It seems once again tea is a common factor that keeps many of us working!

Many thanks to all the artists involved; next week we've a brand new Featured Illustrator.

We love comments and really appreciate the time it takes to leave one.
Interesting and pithy reactions to a post are brilliant but we also LOVE it when people just say they've read and enjoyed.
We've made it easy to comment by losing the 'are you human?' test, which means we get a lot of spam. Fortunately, Blogger recognises these, so most, if not all, anonymous comments are deleted without reading.
