After a whole year away, the Ten-Minute Blog Break returns next Tuesday, highlighting the very best blog posts from SCBWI-BI members. But how does your blog get considered for inclusion? Read on to find out...

The Ten-Minute Blog Break is compiled from links found via a number of sources, including social media. However, the primary source I use is the SCBWI Blog Network page here on the Words & Pictures site, so if you want to be sure that your must-read blog post will be considered, you need to ensure it's included on the list.

The Blog Network is open to all paid-up SCBWI-BI members. I've been through the list and removed all the lapsed members, so now there's plenty of room for you! To join, please leave your name and the URL of your blog in a comment below. I am hoping the W&P spam filter will be kind to us, but I'll be keeping an eye on the spam folder just in case...

Finally, although this isn't a Blog Break proper, I can't resist highlighting this emotive post on the WH Smith blog from Sue Wallman, all about her publication journey and the hidden family struggle that underpinned it.

See you next week,
Nick.

Thanks Nick (btw I've kept forgetting to comment on your Drifting Away post on Slushpile to say I LOVED its honesty and found it incredibly helpful as I'd been struggling with the same thoughts and issues)!

We love comments and really appreciate the time it takes to leave one.
Interesting and pithy reactions to a post are brilliant but we also LOVE it when people just say they've read and enjoyed.
We've made it easy to comment by losing the 'are you human?' test, which means we get a lot of spam. Fortunately, Blogger recognises these, so most, if not all, anonymous comments are deleted without reading.
