New Releases
Tom has a very important job: every day he climbs to the top of the hill and watches for pirate ships. When he rings his bell and shouts "PIRATES!" a few too many times -- even though there's no pirate ship -- the villagers start to get tired of hiding. But what will happen when the pirates really do show up? Pirates are Coming is the latest offering from author John Condon and illustrator Matt Hunt published by Nosy Crow.
Once upon a time there was a little girl called Mabel. A girl who didn't like books. She used them for all sorts of things, from juggling to sledging, but she NEVER looked at the stories inside. Until the books decided they had had ENOUGH! Follow Mabel and find out what happens next! I Don't like books. Never, Ever. The End is the fantastic new book from author Emma Perry and illustrator Sharon Davey, a refreshing and fun picture book published by David Fickling Books
Coming Soon
Puffin has signed Blue Planet II by Leisa Stewart-Sharpe, the first in a brand-new series of four major non-fiction books in collaboration with BBC Earth.
Editorial director Anna Barnes Robinson acquired world rights from Louise Lamont at the LBA Agency, on behalf of BBC Earth, to create an illustrated books series inspired by BBC Planet programmes. We can't wait!
Paul Morton is hopping with excitement as his book, featured on the SCBWI conference Hook programme is announced for release. Bug Belly, the ever-hungry but ingenious frog, must rescue 100s of tiny taddies from a pond that is quickly draining. But why is it emptying? Only he and and his hungry tum know why! To save them all he's going to need his cleverest plan ever, and especially if he's to avoid Old Snapper, the ferocious pike, heron AND Sneaky Snake?! Bug Belly Babysitting Trouble will be published by Five Quills March 2020.

No comments:
We love comments and really appreciate the time it takes to leave one.
Interesting and pithy reactions to a post are brilliant but we also LOVE it when people just say they've read and enjoyed.
We've made it easy to comment by losing the 'are you human?' test, which means we get a lot of spam. Fortunately, Blogger recognises these, so most, if not all, anonymous comments are deleted without reading.
