New Releases

Jenny Moore is celebrating the launch of her new Middle Grade book, Bauble, Me and the Family Tree, which is out now, published by Maverick. (Cover illustration by Kiersten Eagan.) When his genius little sister Bauble spots Mum kissing Santa Claus - in August - everything Noel thought he knew about his dead dad is turned on its head.

Lucy Farfort is hooting this month as she celebrates her debut book as an illustrator with Little Tiger Press, called Afraid of the Dark, written by Sarah Shaffi and Isabel Otter published this October.

Also released this month is Boy Everywhere, by the very talented W&P Deputy Ed A. M. Dassu. Follow the journey of Sami, a story of survival, of family, of bravery ... In a world where we are told to see refugees as the 'other', this story will remind readers that 'they' are also 'us'. Published by Old Barn Books with stunning cover art by Zainab 'Daby' Faidhi.

Elizabeth Dale’s latest picture book Billy and the Balloons, illustrated by Patrick Corrigan, has just been published by Salariya (Scribblers) - just in time for Christmas. Billy is holding onto his dad’s balloons one snowy Christmas Eve when he is swept up into the sky by a gust of wind. His dad, the farmer and assorted animals all try to bring Billy down to earth but they’re swept up on his magical balloon ride, too. Then they meet Santa! But he has a big problem - his reindeer are too tired to deliver the remaining presents. Oh no!  Billy may be tiny, but can he possibly help save Christmas?

Coming Soon

We are excited to announce Maisie Chan has signed a two book deal with Piccadilly Press. Danny Chan does not do Maths will be released with Piccadilly Press in June 2021 with the sequel to follow. Make sure you look out for this funny big-hearted Middle Grade story.

No comments:

We love comments and really appreciate the time it takes to leave one.
Interesting and pithy reactions to a post are brilliant but we also LOVE it when people just say they've read and enjoyed.
We've made it easy to comment by losing the 'are you human?' test, which means we get a lot of spam. Fortunately, Blogger recognises these, so most, if not all, anonymous comments are deleted without reading.
