Jion Sheibani signs with Elinor Cooper

Our first good news for 2016 comes from Jion.



Jion recently signed with Elinor Cooper of Diamond Kahn and Woods (DKW) literary agency.

 Jion writes:
I heard the founders speak at the 2014 agents' party and loved the sound of the agency, but they weren't yet taking on author-illustrators. A year later I got an invitation to the same agents' party but this time saw Elinor had joined the agency and represented illustrators too. I couldn't go to the party but I submitted anyway and a few days later was signed by her!
So a big big thank you to SCBWI for organizing these wonderful events and also for all the amazing support and encouragement I've received from fellow Scoobies. I'm so grateful!
