Kelly McCaughrain has earned a reputation for 'telling it like it is' (and using copious memes to illustrate her blogs). But her latest post goes straight for the jugular. Make sure you never ask her: "So, how are your book sales?"
It's Halloween this week, which means I can thank Catherine Friess for this well-timed selection of skeleton and monster picture books.
I became unreasonably excited when I read Tracy Darnton's latest blog post, because someone else uses square brackets too! If you don't know what I'm blithering on about, then Tracy's list of the top six writing things you didn't know you needed is recommended reading.
Can you work on multiple writing projects at once? I have to confess that I struggle with this, so Paula Harrison's excellent tips for tuning in your brain are much appreciated.
