 B B Taylor  jumps into May by sharing the good vibes with some of our members' latest achievements and celebrations! 

New Releases 


Lights, camera .... ACTION! That's right Stan is back and this time with more action than ever! Action Stan, written by Elaine Wickson and illustrated by Chris Judge is published by OUP and released May 2nd. It's the second book in the series about a boy who charts his life through infographics - and there's even more in this one making it a visual delight to add to your shelves!



The wait is over and the monsters are here! Crystal Kite winner Lorraine Gregory is treating us all once more with the release of her newest book our now. Her second novel The Maker of Monsters, published by OUP, is a thrilling adventure to add to your wish list. 




Vashti Hardy is stealing us away to another world as she announces her newest title Wildspark, a mind-bending new adventure from the brain behind Brightstorm. Published by Scholastic, it is popping up on shelves near you now!




Clare Helen Welsh’s stunning new picture book, The Tide, is finally out! Illustrated by Ashling Lindsay and published with Little Tiger Press, The Tide is a story about families, growing older and how we can help a loved one with dementia live well. A beautiful story in every way.

Linda Beckett is spreading her web as she excitedly announces her second book will be published in 2020. A story with a strong message about internet safety and how we should be aware of who we are talking to online. It is her second book to be unleashed is called Caught in the Web

Tita Berredo is excited to announce she has won the House of Illustration's Illuminated Alphabet competition the judges described Tita's winning circus-themed alphabet as "very clever, amusing and witty!" (And we have to agree!)

Good News



We are thrilled to announce that our very own Mandy Rabin has been chosen as one of the London Library's emerging writers. Here is a picture of her from the launch event where she got to meet the 37 other writers. Congratulations at Mandy!
