BLOG BREAK Laughter and Launches
Nick Cross presents his fortnightly selection of must-read blogs.
In addition to decluttering her work space a few Blog Breaks ago, Sally Poyton is now decluttering her mind. There are some great ideas here, but I now feel a bit disorganised by comparison!
Kathryn Kettle has just launched her debut YA novel The Boy I Am. Her blog post examines the joys and challenges of launching a book during lockdown.
Kelly McCaughrain spent her festive period wisely - reading kidlit books! Here are some short and sweet reviews of new and old titles you may have missed.
Finally, let's bring on the funny. Or rather, let's bring on Catherine Rosevear, who is thinking about what makes children's writing funny and how that can help raise the laughter level of her own writing.
Nick.

We love comments and really appreciate the time it takes to leave one.
Interesting and pithy reactions to a post are brilliant but we also LOVE it when people just say they've read and enjoyed.
We've made it easy to comment by losing the 'are you human?' test, which means we get a lot of spam. Fortunately, Blogger recognises these, so most, if not all, anonymous comments are deleted without reading.
