A big congratulations to Sital Gorasia Chapman. The first two books in her debut series, The Maths Adventures, illustrated by Susanna Rumiz, were published on 4th May by DK Childrens.

Jenny Moore has huge cause for celebration. The second instalment of her fantasy series was published by Maverick Publishing on 28th April. Embra Oak and the Beckoning Bones follows on from Emba Oak and the Terrible Tomorrows. With cover art by David Dean, this is a fantasy series that promises prophesies, challenges and dragons! Congratulations Jenny, this looks incredible!

Finally, turning to the month ahead, Marie Basting is awaiting the launch of her new middle-grade novel, My Family and Other Romans on 8th June. This follows on from the success of Princess BMX and is published by Chicken House. Just look at that cover by Flavia Sorrentino! This is a funny time-travelling caper which sees Livi and her family catapulted back to Ancient Rome. We wish you all the best Marie!

Marie's new novel is perfect for 8+

No comments:

We love comments and really appreciate the time it takes to leave one.
Interesting and pithy reactions to a post are brilliant but we also LOVE it when people just say they've read and enjoyed.
We've made it easy to comment by losing the 'are you human?' test, which means we get a lot of spam. Fortunately, Blogger recognises these, so most, if not all, anonymous comments are deleted without reading.
