EVENTS: SCBWI BRITISH ISLES CONFERENCE 2024

The SCBWI British Isles Conference returns once more!
This year's Conference will be held in-person in central London on 9 November.
It will feature a stellar line-up of speakers with Joseph Coelho opening with an Author Keynote followed by Helen Stephens with the Illustrator Keynote.

I had such fun and learned so much at the 2023 SCBWI British Isles Conference in Manchester that I am very excited about the next SCBWI British Isles Conference coming up in November this year. The Conference Committee is buzzing with activity as we finalise the venue and when tickets can be released.

But we don’t want you to have FOMO. So here are some teaser announcements that you should know...

Bookings for the Conference are on sale here!

• Writing for boys?

Then learn to write a book that will grip BOYS with Philip Kavvadias

• Have a story to tell?

Find out how to discover the story YOU want to tell with Teri Terry

• Thinking of visiting schools as an author/illustrator?

See how to ACE that school visit in our School Visit Slam!

• Looking to network with industry professionals, friendly faces and to make new friends?

Fret not there will be a stellar industry party at the end of the Conference to network with editors and agents, conference faculty and to catch up with old  friends and make new ones. So don't leave for home too early.

• Curious to know what members have published and done?

Then don’t miss the launch of fellow SCBWI members' books published in 2024 and the Crystal Kite Members' Choice Award for the British Isles.

Don’t forget to bring your FANCY HAT! Don't fancy it? That's fine!

Check out the full conference programme here.

No comments:

We love comments and really appreciate the time it takes to leave one.
Interesting and pithy reactions to a post are brilliant but we also LOVE it when people just say they've read and enjoyed.
We've made it easy to comment by losing the 'are you human?' test, which means we get a lot of spam. Fortunately, Blogger recognises these, so most, if not all, anonymous comments are deleted without reading.
