Featured Illustrator Catch-up

How time flies! As Words & Pictures celebrates it's second anniversary as a web magazine, here's a look back over the past year's Featured Illustrators.



Over the last year we've seen a very wide range of illustrators showcased in Words & Pictures, from new faces to seasoned professionals. Some yet-to-be-published debut winners of our 2014 Undiscovered Voices compilation, some who have recently switched to children's books from other paths, and others who've been in the business a long time. No matter at what stage in their career, each artist receives the same opportunity to be showcased in Words and Pictures.

The answers to the quick fire questions have proved very interesting again this year, indicating that there's a wide variety of things that inspire and encourage us in our art. It seems once again tea is a common factor that keeps many of us working!
